Transfer paperwork question...

I purchased a handgun back in the mid-90's and have long since lost/discarded the paperwork. Now I would like to transfer the gun to my cousin.

If we walked into a gun shop (FFL of course), could they pull up my registration info. from the DOJ or other site, or is there some form of paperwork I need to get before we go in to do the transfer?

You don't need to bring anything other than your ID when selling a gun.

But to answer the other part of your question anyway... No, they cannot look up the registration information for your gun.
