    Livermore range construction time line?

Anyone know what the ball park time frame is to the Livermore range back on the old schedule? The 2:00 opening is keeping me from going since the kids get out of school at 3. I saw the pictures on the website and it looks like they are coming along nicely

    TIA

I was there last week and the dividing wall looks complete and they were doing inspections.

Fantastic. I look forward to the upgrades and hoping it might ease the congestion a bit.
Anyway...here's a dearth of reasoning to ponder: http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Guns

Pictures look cool. What upgrades are they doing? Just adding more lanes?

Thanks for the update, just made my day! I went to the Manteca range once in the interim, just wasn't it for me. Don't get me wrong the Manteca range is nice, just wasn't the same.

It's for the junior shooting league...not sure if they'll use those lanes for overflow since they already have a hard enough time finding volunteers to schedule with the 28 or so lanes they already have.

Last time I was there the RO said they're building some for youth and also may have patterning area.

When the youth range is not running some event, it can be used for pistol shooting (nothing larger than .45ACP), assuming there are enough RSOs to supervise that area as well as the rest of the range. That will alleviate a lot of the waiting time for an available lane. The regular 29 lanes will still permit both pistol and rifle fire.

There is currently a patterning board in that area. I have been told it will be moved down to the trap range area. I believe the archery range will also be relocated for safety reasons.
