Help me decide my next Glock purchase

    Hello,
I am in the market to buy another Glock pistol in 9mm. I will add that I already own a Glock 19 (love it). I am looking at a Glock 17 or a Glock 26. I would like to hear your opinions. Let me know Glock 26 or Glock 17 and why.

Though have a 17 and love it, seeing that you already have a 19, would be kinda pointless.

Get the 26, and use your 19 mags in it. You get the 17, you'd have to stock up on more (and 10 rounders at that).

Depends on what you want to use it for.

This makes sense to me. But if I were going bigger, I'd get the G34.

Have you considered the Glock 22? Comes with a .40 barrel but an extra 100 bucks gets you a drop in 9mm barrel. Then you have a gun capable of two calibers.

If you don't like that idea I would go with the Glock 26

Since you already have a Glock in 9mm, why not get another with a different caliber?

I voted Glock 26 for lack of additional options. I too think that if you have a glock in 9mm, unless you are looking for a CCW 9mm (G26) then why not switch things up and snag something in a different caliber?

I have a Glock 23 and love it, but I think my next glock is going to be a 30S. Double Stack .45ACP and plenty small for CCW.

It's a personal preference, like another said you already have the 19.

+1 on the G34 with improved trigger, that's what's on my plate

I like the Glock 22 with the 9mm switch barrel idea too. You get a different caliber Glock plus basically a Glock 17 for the price of a barrel.

Had a Glock 34 previously I felt the gun as too long. The trigger was nice but similar upgrades can be done to the G17 to have it mirror a G34 in a shorter package. I also think with the upgrades for the G17 the price point is possibly lower than the G34.

                        Second that.

                        Going 19 to 17 isn't much of a difference. 19 to 34 you will notice a lot.

Get both the 17 and 26. Then later on get the 34.

If you have plans to apply for CCW, get the G26.
I would buy a different firearm.
