    Ukraine meltdown= higher priced ammo?

Been noticing that the Ukraine is having some serious political problems. Could this hurt us here in the U.S.? I mean, we get alot of "cheap" or less expensive ammo from there and if they stop exporting,(even for awhile) then will our current supply of moderate to expensive ammo go up more in price because there is less ammo on the market?

Who the F buys Ukraine ammo in the first place? Or Russian ammo for that matter? I won't touch the stuff.

You must not own an AK. Either that or you have lots of money.

      There's a reason the 5.45x39 7N6 is known as a "poison bullet."

I could see another panic happening if the Russians continue to take aggressive actions that point towards massive conflict.

I'm looking to pick up a few thousand rounds. Problem is getting it back to the states. Oh well. I'll just use it here.

Putin will not take notice, he knew Obama had a lot of trouble and in no position to challenge Russia.

President Obama should have kept quiet, because there is little we can or should be doing in the Crimea. It was historically part of Russia and was only "given" to the Ukraine in 1954 when it was part of the Soviet Union. The inhabitants are mostly Russian, speak Russian and are more aligned with Russia. Those issues coupled with the fact that the only warm water naval base Russia has is on the Black sea make the outcome predictable.

It has already happened in a breakaway part of Georgia a few years ago. Russia is absorbing those ethnically Russian parts of the former empire that happened to end up in a separate country when the empire fell apart.

No, I don't like Obama and he is exposing his weakness and naivete on the world stage.

Interesting article in support of the OP's concern.
