I watched a you tube video last night from Mrgunsngear, it was a review of the M&P VTAC here is the link :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsH30krPLjE
At about 3:30 minute mark he starts going into the updated features of the M&P pistols, I have heard of this before but I thought the updates were only to the trigger. However he pointed out that Smith and Wesson changed the rifling of the barrel to a faster twist rate. He said in the video you can see if you have an upgraded barrel or not, if on the under side of the barrel in front of the locking block there is bump or a dot there. So naturally I took my M&P out disassembled it to check the barrel and I found two dots or bumps in front of the locking block, and now I want to know what twist rate my barrel is or what does the second dot indicate? Any and information would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
