You video is down, but I'll bet you have somthing on the leading edge of the trigger body that is blocking it from moving all the way forward.

Take some compressed air and blow the area out from the outside and from the interior.

You have the factory Pro Sear in the gun. The Apex sear is a black or dark gray color and has 3 dots on the side of it. The factory sear will typically have a letter or number stamped on the side and has a deep scallop on the top as well as a chisel point on the back.

We see this all the time, people confuse our sear with the factory because our sear it not bright and shiny like the factory. We shot a video last weekend about this specifically since we get this question frequently.

You will need to close your trigger bar loop back down after you install our sear. Make sure you have about a .015" gap between the sear face and trigger bar when the trigger bar is at rest. If you don't have feeler gauges, cut a strip about .250 wide off the business card that came with the parts and use that as a gauge.

If you need further assistance, please call or email us. We are more than happy to walk you through the trouble shooting process if you need it.

        Thanks

        Scott

          Thanks Flork.

That is the depth of knowledge and level of after purchase service you get when you buy parts from Apex Tactical. They don't just make stuff and charge money, they really keep track of what is working and issues that come up for users...even if it is self-inflected.

Funny, I'm sure I put in the correct sear and I still just took my M&P apart to look
