Chabot gun club ranges

I've been to the Chabot gun range a few times, and spent a lot of time on the rifle range. Are the distances for the ranges accurate? Maybe I'm just terrible at guessing ranges, but I could almost swear that the 50 yard line is a 25 yard line, and the 100 yard line is a 50 or 75 yard line?

Rifle distances are 20, 50, 75, 100 yds on the public range.
Pistol distances are 7, 11, 15, 25 yds on the public range.
There is a 200 yd range accessible to the public on Fridays.

There is no 25 yard distance on the rifle range because of the sight line
from the range office. Because of the roofline that covers the shooting stations they cant see targets (or shooters) from the range office windows at 25 yards. So they set it up at 20 yds.

I have not measured them but they seem accurate to me.

I think rifle also had a couple lanes on the far right that are 7 yards. You can shoot both pistol and rifles on the rifle range but only handguns on the pistol range. Which ones are the 11 yard pistol lanes? I can only think of 7, 15 and 25 yards on the pistol side.

Yeah I forgot about the 7 yard spot on the rifle range. There is a 2-3 station 11 yard target at the far left end of the pistol range.

7 yards on the rifle range? That was 1 spot and it was the shotgun patterning "board" at table 53(which they removed).

The 11 yard pistol positions are technically 10 meters for air guns.

edit: And for the OP, I'm pretty sure the rifle line distances are accurate. Might seem shorter if you're used to other ranges in the area since the entire rifle line is so wide by comparison to say... metcalf or sunnyvale.

Also; had a physical in awhile? I've had things 'look' closer when my blood pressure was high. Noticed it when I went to the range... and again afterwards when I tried to use my manual decapping tool and hit my thumb three times in a row with a hammer.

Table 53 is still there. I was testing my new reloads at that spot earlier this week (that's why I couldnt believe that I forgot it was there). If they removed it they must have put it back. The only space where you can sit at a bench 7 yds away and rest your pistol for sighting/load testing.

They might have(last couple times I've been there, I haven't bothered to go to that part of the rifle line for anything). Was it the old giant frame with the chicken wire, or was it a normal target frame? When it was gone I assumed it was probably due to complaints of people just shredding paper with shotguns next to the people at the 20 yard line trying to do whatever it is they do(coaching new shooters, kids, 20 yard AR snipers, etc.).

how friendly are they with ar pistols and featureless builds? been wanting to check them out but their hours never line up with my bay travels...

I've shot AR pistols there frequently. Never been hassled. I'd assume they're going to be similarly nonplussed by featureless builds.

Only "restriction" they have around AR pistols is that you should shoot those on the rifle line and not the pistol line. Which makes perfect sense to me......

Yeah, chabot doesn't care about ar pistols and featureless. Really the only "weird" rules they have for anything that isn't a law or something that should be obvious(like slugs only in shotguns on the rifle line) is no more than 2 rounds in an SKS at any time.

Now if you start breaking the rules and shooting target stands, screwing around at tables while people are down range(seriously, you can see that someone has been there through 4 prior target change periods, and then they'll screw around at the table during the 5th), not having ears and ears on past the red line, etc... any screaming at you over the PA at that point is entirely your own fault.
