Yosemite Fire

Not sure where to post this, so it comes here.
Shortly after the current Yosemite fire started, a Fire Official or USFS Official blamed the start of the fire on "target shooters" with no further explanation given.
Has anyone heard what was being referred to? I don't understand how "target shooters" could start a fire.
Black powder guns often shoot out sparks, steel jacketed bullets may spark if rocks are hit, tracers are illegal. So, it would be nice to know exactly what the fire is being blamed on.

Thats strange.....

I heard it was some anti-gunner tree huggers who were burning up the second ammendment to smoke some pot/dope that started the fire of the century.

How funny! Isnt Yosemite a non-lead ammo area? Some guy abides by rules and uses steel bullets, resulting in a fire! How ironic!
