If so, as far as I know the only exemption is for law enforcement. -

If you owned the +10 rounders before Jan. 1 2000, they are yours.
There is your exception.
That and LEOs.It doesn't matter how scary, ugly, uncomfortable, or inconvenient self defense can be. Like it or not, you will never, ever be relieved of your duty and responsibility to defend your life, your family, your country and your freedom.

There isn't an exemption, per se. Standard capacity magazines that you owned prior to their being deemed illegal, are perfectly legal. This is, of course, assuming you are using them in a legal manner, and not violating any other laws in the process.☀
