    Vegas, NV Pistol Transport Law

I'll be visiting Vegas in the coming weeks and intend to bring my pistol to qualify for NV CCW. Can any one point me to information about NV's law pertaining to transporting pistol? Do they require locked container? Unloaded pistol? and can the mag be in the same container?

I'm aware that open carry is legal, but I rather keep it concealed, unloaded, locked if need be to avoid unnecessary questioning.

    Thanks

Unloaded and in a locked container is a legal method of transporting a firearm in NV.
Same way you would transport in CA, is also legal in NV.

Open carry (loaded or unloaded) is legal in NV.

It is also legal to have a loaded handgun in your vehicle as long as it is not "concealed upon your person".
NV law defines "concealed upon your person" to be on you and concealed.
NV case law defines "concealed upon your person" to include loaded handgun in a portable container (case, pack, purse, bag, etc).
