Need FFL help

I am looking for a current FFL to answer a question for me. I plan on selling used guns. I know that I need a secondhand dealers permit to sell used items. I have found the local permit I need. But my local agency refers to a state dealers permit, aside from the state firearms sellers permit. Any help you could provide in locating the application or governing body would be appreciated.

Are they referring to a state second hand dealers permit or are they simply referring to your CFD cover sheet that you will be issued by the DOJ once you get everything turned into the DOJ?

Our local PD gave us all the forms (state and local) for the secondhand license. Another live scan and some money was all it took. I'm presuming you already have your 01 setup, yes? You need both, not just the secondhand.

Working on the 01 right now. My local sheriff's department said that I need a local and a state secondhand dealers permit,Not just my CFD. I can't even start applying for the other permits till I recieve my 01 anyway, but I am trying to get everything lined up. I have the paperwork for the local permit and the livescan. Iguess I'll ask when I go in for that.
