      While a lot of people don't like him, and there are some good reasons why, he does at least come out on the right side some of the time, certainly more than most CA politicians. Good on him this time.

              He's is fairly pragmatic and I think surprises people by not being a knee jerk politician. This is one of those cases. And he's right, gun legislation is not going to solve problems in Oakland which are caused by those who don't really care if they are law abiding.
