    Are Magna-Tip sets any good?

I now have a couple of guns that'll require decent bits to take apart. After a recent issue, I realized that I have no high quality screw driver bits. The Magna-Tips sets sold through Brownells look pretty good. Anyone have these and can say whether they are high quality and worth the money or not?

    Thanks!

Do yourself a favor and buy the BIG set (the one with rows and rows of bits). Sooner or later you'll wish you have the full set anyways

I bought the 'simple' set, and ended up getting the full set later- full set is in my garage, simple kit sits on my desk inside.

I use the magnetic driver more than the clip-in type- it's easier to take the bits off, and having a little magnetism to hold your screw on usually helps (unless you have a spare hand).

Yup, I was looking at the big set. You can't have too many, right?

Oh, and by big set, I mean the Super Set Plus, the the mega set that's like $300.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but if you want to slick up your 92 something fierce check out Steve's Guns:

He is the Rossi 92 specialist smith and has a DVD for $29.99 that teaches you exactly how to do it. Trigger, lever, loading gate, the whole deal. Turns it into a new gun.

The Wheeler Engineering screwdriver kits are very good also. I have the big Wheeler kit and also keep a smaller Brownells set in my range bag.

The Brownell's bits are awesome. I have used them with success when other bits have failed. As has been said though buy the big set. I am still slowly upgrading to all the bit sizes
