    Does a PPT have to be face to face?

    Does a PPT have to be face to face, or can an off roster handgun be shipped to your FFL, and a PPT done that way also? Thanks!

    Off-roster can be mailed and SSE, not PPT.

      PPT = face to face

      Shipped in guns abide by the roster.

        Unless shipped to an FFL that will perform the SSE process.

            I suppose it would be possible to do a Person-to-Person transfer back to back, or maybe even side to side, so long as you are both at the FFL at the same time I guess you wouldn't have to actually look at the other guy's face.

            If you haven't seen it with your own eyes,
            or heard it with your own ears,
            don't make it up with your small mind,
            or spread it with your big mouth.

              Due CA laws/regulations...
              A Private Party Transfer (PPT) is a face-to-face transfer between CA residents facilitated by a CA FFL dealer.
