    How Much Is Too Much?

I bided on this stock from ebay for $42.00. There was 7min left on the bid so I asked my wife to keep an eye on it for me for the remainder of the time while I did something. I came back to find out that she ended up outbidding another bidder for $70. I was like WHAT happened? It was just $42.00. It has been customized to fit a .920 barrel that I have. Still worth it or not?

This is a stained Ruger 10/22 stock made to fit the. 920 heavy/bull barrels.

        Why are you asking?
Don't you have to buy it no matter what now?

That's what I thought too. Hopefully after it's put together it will look really nice to help the overage. Oh well, can't cry over spilled milk.

sometimes, the effort made by a loved one to please you can't be measured in dollars. i'd say you got a good deal.

So, you're saying you had 7 minutes on your auction, but just had to hand it off to your wife and you are now concerned that you paid too much?

They do have a handy "maximum bid" feature on e-bay, don't they?
