I live in Orange County, I've purchased ammo online.... From many sights.... And frequently.... So can someone explain to me why Samco Global refuses to ship to Orange County?! They have great prices and I was going to stock up on some 308. But it seems like I'm SOL in this case....

Different online shops have different policies about where they will ship ammo. California gun laws are generally confusing to out of staters and lots of shops find this frightening, they Really don't want any trouble with the law. Some shops err on the side of caution and follow funny policies about where they will ship.
Some CalGuns posters have gone a little crazy here, wanting to sue far away gun store to make them ship to their house. Find a friend with an address in another county or pick another gun shop.
