    Gunsmith in SoCal

Anyone know a good gunsmith that can fit a new Bell & Carlson stock to an older (70's)Rem 700. I'm hesitant to start filing away on it. Inland Empire area preferred. Thanks.

Look up Randall at AR15Barrels. He's a member here under the same user name. Very good and knowledgeable gunsmith.

Have you tried to install it yourself yet? I put a new B & C stock on my older remington 700 and it went right on.

Yeah, but seems like it may need very minor sanding and also longer trigger guard screws. I suppose it's easy enough, just don't want to ruin it. I also got one for a Tikka and it just dropped right in. I really like them.
