    Ballistol......

For many years i use synthetic motor oil, The best thing you can find.
After all the chemicals if you use it, you will see your patch comes out dirty. If you use any chemicals after synthetic oil, they come out clean. That means its cleaning ability is much higher....

You can get by with hoppes #9, a brash brush and rod, some cut up t shirts, and motor oil.

Having said that I usually use mobil1, synthetic grease, ballistol, CLP, gun scrubber and froglube until I run out of it.

Moving forward im not going to buy more froglube. I like a little ballistol in water to wash plastic parts. I like spraying down my, chambers, bolts and carriers with clp before scrubbing with nylon or brash brush, I like hoppes on my barrel patches followed by a clean mobil 1 or ballistol patch. I like cleaning my glock frame with synthetic safe gun scrubber on a nylon brush.

You really could get by with ballistol and nothing else though.

Break Free CLP, CorrosionX and or Eezox!
            My go to is CorrosionX!!

clp, hoppes, motor oil etc, applied with rags, old shirts, paper towels, q-tips and patches

however i will never buy another bottle of spray can clp, only the liquid from now on as like %80 of the time the propellant runs out before the clp
