Issue with Heinie Specialty Products

Has anyone had a bad experience ordering from them?

I ordered a set of their straight 8 night sights for my XD40 on Feb 1st.
They pulled the money out of my account on the spot. I emailed them on the 4th for a status update and heard back from them the 6th that they were on backorder and out getting the tritium inserts installed and should be ready the beginning of this week.
Its now the 13th and still nothing....
Their website didn't even indicate the product backordered.
Should I be patient or call and talk some crap?

I didn't order directly from them, but when I had em put on a 1911 of mine I think I remember waiting around 6-8 weeks. That was about 2 years ago or so.

Richard Heine was one of the first aftermarket sight makers. He is dedicated to this and his products are really, really nice. So it's backordered for a bit, big deal. If you send your gun into Cylinder and Slide for the best High Power trigger package on the planet, don't complain if it takes 18 months.

Who did you order them through? All the shops I went to couldnt help me which was why I went directly to them.

Had a shop in Sunnyvale order and install em for me.

So I called Friday last week and the chick on the phone said I will have them by the end of this week monday the latest, so ill just keep my fingers crossed. I just gotta be patient.
