Lower from H&H taclical anyone out there have any experiance or suggestions on what works best with this type of DIY lower?
I wanted to use mostly RRA two stage triger and upper assembly but saw that they do not recomend anyone use the products on DIY builds?

I actually have the same lower. I used a Dpms 308 LPK and it went in without any problems. The trigger pull is a little heavy but useable. Just remember to use the HH supplied roll pin for the bolt catch instead of the dpms threaded one. The best price for the LPK I found was at Lanbo's Armory.

learn the difference between AR-10 and LR-308 so that you don't buy the wrong parts.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Thanks for the info I read up on the diffrences between the two and I have a DPMS 308 style paper wieght sounds like there is alot of options out ther that will work for this style lower reciver, I would like to use a rock river two stage type trigger group on it, anyone have any suggestion or preferences? I see the pins will need to be diffrent since there longer for a .308 and the buffer and spring as well as the blot catch . Also looking into a JP BCG .

I have the DPMS lower completed but now I am having a tough time finding much of a selection for an upper. I would love to find something between 20-24 inches. I would completely build the upper too if I knew where to get good information and parts. Any experience here?

Im actually in the same situation with the upper. I was Looking at the DPMS oracle upper on Midway, but I really want a 20 inch barrel. If anything, I might buy one of these: SASS Upper

There is a list of places you can go to complete your lower your self

Im also looking at purchesing a DPMS stripped upper and purchesing a 18" to 20" barrel any suggestions?

It looks like we all are interested in the same thing but have no idea where to find it. Can anyone help us find DPMS 20'' upper or bigger?

I'd say buy the upper and an extra barrel and red dot. Go from sniper to heavy battle rifle fast.

half of you here are weak and lame that will basically wind up being happy with .22 single shot pistols or single barrel shotguns..
