OP I live in San Fernando. If you don't plan on investing into tools right away, I have a few you can borrow to make the swap easier to accomplish

How about just buy another upper?

Next thing you know, you'll be buying another lower, BCG, LPK, CH, BUIS, 2K worth of optics

If anyone buys the $20 2 piece get a FPG or AFG cause the edges on the rails are little on shap side and you'll be pissed shooting it after few hundred rounds

half of you here are weak and lame that will basically wind up being happy with .22 single shot pistols or single barrel shotguns..

Nice! I picked up a Model 3 as my first AR a few years back and it also did not come with sights. I was really close to purchasing an M&P 15 too. I ended up buying troy battle sights, DD Omega X 12.0 free float rail, and a yankee hill low profile gas block. In retrospect I could have saved a little more and purchased a DD AR that came with a quad rail and sights and I would have had a Mil-Spec rifle but I had fun purchasing these items separately and installing them myself. Have fun with your rife bud!

Now just have to wait 9 more days and counting

What quad rail would you guys recomend for it ?? i kinda want a floating quad rail. Looking to be able to attach a couple things including maybe a flash light and a front handle.

My opinion... Do a Fin-Grip (Grip Wrap), Pin the Butt-Stock, Troy Flip-Up Iron Sights, PWS Muzzle Brake, a Low Profile Gas Block, a Yankee Hills (YHM) Ultra-Lite Quad Rail and a Black Hawk 2-Point Sling. This way you eliminate all the so called evil features allowing you to remove the silly mag-lock.

Oh... Do not put a forward grip on it if you do the previous. It puts you back in the evil features category and you will have to put the mag-lock back on. Which defeats the purpose of the previous.

Thanks guys, and for those of you that are willing to lend me your tools and time i really appreciate it. I cant wait to get the thing and put some rounds down range. But im seriously thinking of getting the low profile gas block and floating rail. Was also thinking some kind of optics.

Now i notice people with optics still have iron sights dont the optics get in the way of the other sights ??? or do they just remove the optics ??
