I know they do it in Sacramento.Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

City of Sacramento, City of LA.
Union City? Have not heard of that before.
If the buyer looks 'young', might ask for proof of age for handgun ammo (must be 21), but copying is not customary.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment

The two boxes may have been a limited supply for that specific store. As far as the ID, already been engaged. Use a card, get carded.I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.Comment

Generally it's a "no", but I know Target Masters in Milpitas takes a copy of your ID if you buy ANYTHING (i was buying a bore brush and some gun-oil when they took mine).
Employee said it was because they have a lot of criminals and gangmembers who come through there (how they know this, i don't know, but they have told me weird stories, like guys asking to shoot there, telling them they have their own guns, and then pulling them out of their pants, guys coming in with guns that shoot burst-fire)
Annie's Guns got robbed big-time about 10 years ago(??), all their handguns got stolen. that part of Fremont has some low-level gang-activity, the neighborhood next-door can be kinda sketchy sometimes.Comment

Why is it people don't ask questions directly when something seems out of the ordinary? I'd ask why would you need a copy of my ID for ammo purchases but not with a attitude but more like what's the purpose of keeping a copy. I live basicly 5 mins from Annie's and the only time I've given ID and had a copy made was for a firearm purchase. Some new store policy? I haven't purchased ammo from them lately but might have to swing by and see if they have any lowers in.Comment
