He got off with a slap on the wrist just like the republican that tried to carry a loaded gun onto an airplane claiming he forgot it was in his bag.

So it seems anyone in politics whether it is a democrat or a republican will get off much better than you or I would.

Not really, in fact most offenders get off with very little punishment. Currently in LA county you will do little or no jail time for any misdemeanor, and some felonies. Even repeat offenders.

im not disappointed with the sentence at all...despite his views, if he is a law abiding person, not committing a crime, i don't favor him, or anyone going to jail for wanting to protect themselves

i do have a problem with this though...

when this arrest first happened Mr. Ferguson stated that "he forgot" that he was armed...

now, at sentencing, his lawyer states that he was armed to "protect the children"...so which lie do we believe

they sure know how to twist the "protect the children" cliche to fit their situation...his gun is for good, anyone else's is for evil

He got over......any one of us would have lost gun rights and likely been incarcerated for a bit. Why does this not surprise me.
