Guys, again.. Not trying to be a tough guy in front of the mirror and I dont know how I came off like that in my original post but Im just looking for any information and suggestions. Security cams to keep trouble out, check.. Thanks.

Also consider a monitored home security system, and get into the habit of engaging it at night. If the intruder kept coming despite the wailing alarm, it'll let you know he/she is dangerous.

Another thing that might be useful is a reinforced door frame like StrikeMaster II . The intruder will REALLY have to want to get in and chop down your door to do so. Chances are he'll have a weapon in his hand to chop down the door so....I guess you get the picture.

Reinforced door frame.. Thats a pretty good idea. I will look into that, thanks. What about the windows? A few of the houses in my area have bars around the windows but that may cause problems if ever there was a fire.
