Gun slides turning grayish

I noticed that some slides, particularly on Sigs, are turning a light grey color. I tried applying Weapon Shield, but it still doesn't have a deep black finish.

For example, here the Elite Dark on the bottom doesn't look so dark:



What do you guys use to correct this?

I use more ammo!

yeah seriously. you can't keep your weapon looking 100% for all its life. go out and shoot more

Step 1: Buy a Glock
Step 2: Shoot the Glock (a lot)
Step 3: beat the snot out of it (cause it can take it and wont complain)
Step 4: Clean Glock to be nice to it
Repeat

To correct it, sell the Sig and buy Glock.
