I went to Discount Gun Mart in San Diego the other day for a PPT and I'd like to give them a big shout out for how the transaction was conducted. You could tell it wasn't their favorite thing to do but they were doing as the law requires. Nonetheless, we were in and out in about 10 minutes. I believe that's the fastest PPT I've ever done.

I've bought a lotta stuff there over the years. I sold an AR awhile back & went to DGM. The dude took over an hour to do it, obviously a newer guy for the PPT, sad thing was they really let him struggle. Me & my buddy got 2 range passes each. Everytime I've bought a gun there I've gotten range passes, easily.Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!Comment

I've always been a big fan of their Santee store (got me a Rossi 92 this Saturday I'm waiting to pick up as a matter of fact), and while I've both seen and heard evidence of the Morena store not being a giant **** hole of lousy customer service and overpriced crap anymore, I've just had way too many bad experiences there to bother.
Santee == win
Morena == **** that placeComment

I have to agree with the sentiment regarding the Morena store. Words cannot describe the disdain and hatred I have for that location.
After standing patiently in the "SPECIAL AREA" they provide for PPT over 20 plus minutes, I was asked to leave the store because the AR being sold had a raddlock BB on it.
Bonus points for pissing-off the client I had met there to buy the rifle.
I wanted to strangle that kid behind the counter.
I mean fawk....Turners hasn't even pulled that kinda of schit with me.
Personally, I wouldn't step foot into that store again for anything.Comment

My last PPT at the Morena DGM I was making a rifle/rifle trade with another calguns member. The staff kept telling the other party in the trade that he was getting the short end of the deal. We still went through with the deal because we were both getting what we wanted. Very unprofessional, IMHO for the staff to give their unsolicited opinions."The only right more important than gun rights to cgn members is the right to be a drama queen..." jimxComment
