Favorite shooting sticks/Tripod setup?

I'm looking at getting something I can carry easily enough, but be able to use a stable shooting platform. I really like the tripod setups with a v adapter on them, like the bog gear or vanguard tripods. Does anybody have any recommendations? I will be mainly using them in the sitting position as well. I have bipods already that will work for sitting, but I want some other options as well to expand my horizons a bit. I'd like to stay at the $100 mark, but am willing to fork out a few ducats if the product is WAY better. Thanks in advance.

Pretty much any camera tripod can work with an adaptor on top.

For a rifle though you'll want a really heavy duty tripod.

I use a Manfrotto tripod for my 4x5 camera. It doubles as an excellent rifle rest. But it is also heavy as fk. When I shoot anything 30-cal, I hang a sandbag off the center post to weight down the pod even more.
