why does my Magpul 870 SGA sling mount look different?

Does magpul have different versions of these? One for facing the loop forward and one for rearward towards the stock??



if you look at the magpul picture the "loop" is facing away from the part of the mount with a raised hump and mine is facing towards the hump.



mine has a 05 number on it and matches this one at rainier arms

where did you get yours? maybe it is a chinese knockoff? the finish does not look the same as your web pictures

I heard back from Magpul tech support, mine is authentic. They still have old pictures of pre-production models on their site.

get it together magpul! fix those damn pictures.
