Lawmaker and firearms

I have been wondering if lawmaker have no need for firearms for their protection. I'm guessing that most live in well to do neighborhoods and believe they don't need them. What about the lawmaker that might like firearms, do you think they get mad knowing that they have to go through all the trouble of getting handguns/rifles into their possession like the rest of us. I'm sure their has to be atleast one lawmaker who is into firearms who disagrees with these gun laws.
