Which gun have you put the most rounds through?

Let's actually split this up between .22 and all others.

So, what's the highest round count you've logged on something other than .22?

And then what's the highest .22 count?

I realize this may well be "approximately".

Also, for the firearms you mention, what parts (if any) have you replaced and at roughly what intervals?

RWS model 34. Everday..... In the backyard. .223 out of my favorite AR is about 1000 rounds a month since Feb. 06. Other than that the 10/22. 8 bricks a month since Jan. 03. Lost one extractor.

That would have to be my 9-year-old Sig Sauer P229 .40, but I don't have any idea how many I've put through it....probably in the low thousands. No parts have had to be replaced yet.

Ruger 10/22 .22lr.............20K+ rounds, no replaced parts

Fulton Armory/Bushmaster AR-15, my first OLL and AR-15,
purchased and built back in December 2005 as my mule to learn the platform................................. 10K+ rounds (rough estimate). No parts replaced.

+1 Ruger 10/22, then for recent it goes to S&W M&P .45cal 1000+(stopped counting), then Sig P6/P225 800+ still counting but want to get it refinished next, S&W 617 6" barrel(.22cal) 2500+ love this thing. the rest of the collection has from 6 rounds to 500 and then locked away for a better day, most get shot once a year but some way more then that.

My first M1A I used for HighPower matches... 18K rounds through it.. it started out with a new in wrap TRW barrel that had a TE of 0.0 and the TE is now 1.5 MW is still 0.5

Garand and Springfield 1911. Not sure how many rounds. Several tens of cans thru the Garand. At least 7-8k thru the Springfield. Both still run like the well made machines they are. Might rebarrel the Garand.

Non-.22: My NDS-3 with Romy G parts kit AK build. Probably a couple of thousand rounds, I haven't counted. Plus whatever was run through the parts kit (matching numbers) before the original rifle was cut up and found its way back to me. All numbers still match, haven't worn anything out. Not that it would notice, it's an AK! I did recently replace the screws for the trigger guard with rivets, but I hadn't even Loctited them in place and they were still tight.

The rest of the rifle's rivets were mashed in with either a vise and plates, or a modified bolt cutter. Yeah, ghetto-build AK!

.22: My Marlin Model 60. Got at least 7 or 8 thousand through it on my watch... Only one part worn out, before I got it - the recoil bumper was old and broken in half. The half that fell off was blocking the striker and the owner couldn't figure out how to fix it, so I got the rifle for $10. I also broke the lifter spring where it doubles as the ejector and replaced it.

One of my Kimber Pro CDP IIs. I can only guess that it's shot slightly under 40K rounds. I'm gauging this by the fact that when I get around to it, I cast at least 5K bullets per run and then load them all within a few weeks. So, I figure I've cast about 10 runs since I got the gun but, I feed my other .45s a little bit too.

As far as .22lrs go. I really have no idea which one eats all the ammo. I just know that I've gone through about 2 cases (12x525 rds/case) of .22lr in the last 2 years and I've had some of my rimfires for 25+ years.

Easilly 12K through this gun since I bought it... I have no idea how many before I got it...

Still a hell of a shooter. But I rarely shoot +p ammo in it.

.22 can easily put 500 rounds down the tube in half a day doing target practice.
No idea how many rounds I've put through it. Still easily does 1/2 MOA at 100 yards standing up.

Colt contract 1911, I bought it used and out over 50,000 rounds through it in four years of IPSC competition, The frame and slide are original, just about everything has been replaced at least once.

Safari Arms 1911 with over 20,000 rounds, two barrels, changed one when they made my comped barrel an AW.

Remington 788 in 308 has over 5,000 rounds through it, had the bolt repaired when it broke off a couple of years ago.

Savage 110 - probably 7,500 rounds total. 2,500+ rounds as a 243 changed the barrel to 22.250 and added a Sharp Shooter Supply trigger and an MPI fiberglass stock. After another 3,000+ rounds, I changed the barrel again to another 22.250 and have about 2,000 rounds through that one. When it wears out I will change it back to 243.
