    CWS in Highland

Hey guys, has anyone heard anything from or had any dealings with CWS (Cold War Shooters/Country Wide Shooters) in Highland recently? It appears they have shut down shop and I cant get a hold of anyone.

    Thanks,
    6 P

I thought I saw them at Costa Mesa show last weekend. It seems the drama continues.

I walked into the shop about a week or two before Christmas and all the firearms were gone and somebody was talking about DOJ, and not in a good way. None of my business, and I didn't ask any questions.

The owner got caught banging the secretary. The wife is divorcing him and the gun shop is community property so you can figure out the rest.

I know Hector goes by Pirate14 but it appears he does not log on much these days.

                  swat,

That's old news that happened almost 5 years ago unless it's happening all over again with another assistant. I haven't been to the store since the bitter break up but who cares now we have Ammo Bros. Cold War Shooters was good in it's hay day and I enjoyed giving them my bucks cuz they were near Inland Fish and Game range and they had what I wanted despite the long drive. Anyway I see them at the Costa Mesa show too but they have no banner and the crew is all new. I guess Hector fired everyone or the staff bolted when the business fell apart. This is what happens when you don't keep the personal issues separate from the business. I feel bad for the wife and daughter. They definitely don't need a father like that!

Closed again? I didn't even know they had reopened after the first fiasco a few years ago.

I remember Hector saying stuff here like, "If you don't like my attitude, tough ****. There is a line of people behind you with money they want to give me."

His wife and sister were sweethearts, when I had to deal with CWS, they made it bearable.

Nobody "had" to deal with cws. No gun or lower is worth it to me for someone to disrespect me or talk to me that way. Seems karma came back to bite him hard. I don't feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for the people that keep getting the runaround and scammed by him.

When I did business with Hector and the staff they were all nice but all business. In a way I don't mind that cuz I drove an easy hour and a half to give some bucks to him. This is fine with me as long as I don't get jilted in the process. I give my money for a product and want to get outta there cuz it's another hour and a half back to L.A.!!!

Again it's really a shame things turned out that way but that how it is.
