    Help with Cannon Safe

I have a Cannon safe, model H11 and I opened the door and I turned the dial and now the dial is stuck, with the door open and the lever is stuck in the open position. I hope I am posting this in the right area. I need some help guys, thanks

If you bought it from a company that specializes in gun safes, give them a call and they will be happy to solve the problem. If you bought it from a general purpose sports store, they may have a locksmith they depend on.

The mechanism is not fool proof. I am on pretty good terms with a local safe outlet and they deal with issues all the time. Some due to design and some because of Murphy's law.

My cannon safe did the same thing, except that it got locked shut. The lock smith had to drill it and get me a new safe

Im trying to think of what would stick the dial.
I have a S&G dial on my box and it locks up after the last number (like it is suppose to)
With your box open you may have to remove the back cover to get to the locking pins and lock.

Is the door almost all the way closed?
There is a spot on the hinge side that may lock up the bolts in that position.

Call Cannon. I had a question on my recently purchased Commander, and a tech answered all my questions over the phone.

When do you leave for work? What's your address? Got anything good in there?

I found the problem. The lower bolt was stuck, just inside the hole in the door. I made a minor adjustment and I am back in business.
