First AR build

Last year bought a complete AR lower, Now I'm ready to finish the rifle. My question is what do I need to do to keep it Cali. legal? Is there anything that I should watch out for? I know about the flow chart.

If you know about the flow chart, then you should be good. Make sure the minimum lengths are met, and you have a bummer button, or a no pistol grip stock.
