I went in 2011, an acquaintance of mine worked there and we were allowed access to the archives upstairs. Very very cool stuff up there.
Got to hold STG44s and the only belt fed BAR in 8mm, they could never get it to work properly we were told. Smith and Wesson #3.
Even if you don't go upstairs, the museum has everything a gun enthusiast would drool over. Prototypes, #1 Garand, AR, very fun for the day.
