    Ditch paypal!

Use pistolpay instead for our firearms purchases! Sign up here http://www.pistolpay.com/

Sure hope more firearm sellers sign up to take this form of payment.

I am not affiliated with pistolpay ...

Gpal once again. You'll have next to no converts from this forum.

It has been around for a while. http://www.thehighroad.org/archive/i.../t-676488.html

A specific question about connections with Gpal and the names of directors went unanswered I believe.

Yeah, there were some posts a long while back(mid 2012?) on calguns about it as well. The general consensus was "let everyone else try it first, I don't want to get screwed again".

              Ben? Is that you Ben?

Hey why not, GunPal/Gpal worked out great for me, I hardly lost any money at all...

Seriously though, I hope this works well. It will take some time to wipe the stench of GunPal/Gpal from the halls of the internet though.

As much as everyone hates PayPal, it is the only show in town.

Since 2006 I have used Post Office boxes and my street address to accept checks and money orders from purchasers of Calguns items. Those making payment through the mail are very small, way less than 10%.

I canceled out the PO Box last year as it didn't pay, except for junk mail there wasn't enough purchase traffic, maybe one per quarter.

Almost everyone uses or prefers to use PayPal.

So though they are anti gun I must use them to sell the Calguns.net apparel.

I was an early user of GPal and also lost money, won't happen again.

PayPal is it for the small purchase consumers.

This is essentially an escrow service.
Your order goes to a dealer, the escrow agent, then you go there and inspect and decide if you want or don't want item. Funds are then released to the Seller and you take the item home. Not practical for small dollar purchases, great for high end collectibles.

                    Credit and Debit Card Transactions:
For transactions involving payments made using a Buyer’s Credit Card or Debit Card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express based payments), Pistol Pay will charge the Buyer 2.7% of the transaction value, and will charge the Seller 2.7% of the transaction value, for a total transaction fee of 5.4%.
                    ACH Transactions (Coming Soon!):
For transactions involving payments made using an Automated Clearing House (ACH) direct debit transfer from the Buyer’s checking or savings accounts, PISTOLPAY will charge the Buyer 1.6% of the transaction value, and will charge the Seller 1.6% of the transaction value, for a total transaction fee of 3.2%

You might check into Dwolla for an alternate paymement method.
Run high-volume ACH and real-time bank payments through a single API integration. Trusted by platforms and enterprises handling 126M+ annual transactions.

I signed on with them but no activity yet.

I have used Square Cash to send and receive money between clients and family instead of paypal. Only caveat is that you have to send and receive with Debit cards, wont work for credit cards.

But since it uses ACH transfers it is completely free and takes 1-2 days for the money to be in your bank account.

I only take USPS money orders on gunbroker. You don't like you don't buy. I've had a few people pout about it but too bad buy it somewhere else.

I can't risk having my money locked up by PayPal because some dummy mentions gun stuff in the comments.
