Buying process?

So I havent bought a firearm in about 6 years and recently bout an ar lower receiver. With the new laws on registering long guns what is the paper work like? So far I filled out a paper with information on the seller(PSA) so my local FFL can communicate with them and exchange shipping details. I also paid a transfer fee. I am now waiting on the shipment to get to the FFL and the 10 day wait. Is there going to be more paper work? What should I expect next? Specifically when do I register the lower. Not that I want to, I just want to make sure I dont get myself in trouble.
