    Solve an argument please.

Me and my friend were talking about Ca gun laws the other night and how complicated they are, we started arguing about weather you can include rebuild kits with a gun you sell someone in 2014 so long as you bought the rebuild kits prior to 2014. After a lot of arguing we weren't sure.

    No.

Short answer: 'Rebuild kits' cannot be distinguished from 'repair kits'; it is illegal to transfer 'repair kits' inside CA as of Jan 1, 2014.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

AFAIK, individual parts themselves are okay to buy and sell, as long as they are not packaged as a kit. Of course I wouldn't want to buy/sell all of the parts in the same transaction. I would buy springs if needed, and followers if needed, but at different times with different receipts.

I know, it's stupid. But that's what has become of politics in our country, pass feel good-do nothing legislation.
                Sorry, not sorry.

Or buy a new, neutered mag, then keep the old mag for parts to repair the new one...just thinking.
