If you want to sell it in California you are limited by the restrictions on "off-roster" handgun sales. You'll have to sell it via "private party transfer" where you and the buyer both go in person to the same FFL for the transfer. So mention in your sales ad that the buyer will have to meet you at a local FFL. There is also the option of selling to somebody who is exempt from the roster or modifying the handgun into a roster exempt configuration.

If you want to sell it outside of California then your buyer would be the one to choose an FFL local to them. You should tell them to find an FFL who agrees to accept the shipment directly from you. You should verify that the FFL is legit by running their license number through the ATF EZcheck web site. You can then UPS or FedEx the handgun to the FFL. Both carriers require you to ship handguns overnight, so expect to pay $80 or so in shipping charges and make sure your buyer understands how much shipping will cost before they agree to the purchase.
