Tri-Flow for all around use AR15 (BOB item)

I have been using a 50/50 mix of. Tri flow and 3&1 oil on many many things for years I put it in pen oilers with a BB in there because the Teflon will settle. When I recently got back into shooting and got into AR'S I have been using it on BCG,firing pins and pretty much everything but the outside of the bolt and charging handle it works great and stays put unlike 100% Teflon.


My. 22s, shotguns, muzzleloaders and meat stick have been getting this for the last 8 year's

I've kept a small squeeze bottle of Break-Free in my range bag for years. It doesn't leak, is a firearms-intended lubricant, and is readily available. The squeeze bottle makes it a little easier to put just a drop where you want it. RemOil is too thin for my liking; it doesn't stay where you need it.

Never tried it, but I will. I love tri-flow on anything bike related.

Damn, you beat me to it. Never thought about using it on my guns.

Used it for 25yrs, it's great. Still use it today, although I have something else for slides now.

If you're looking for a one size fits all solution for a BOB, get Fireclean. It's a solid cleaner and lubricant. Just be aware that as it is an oil, it does tend to run out over time.

Triflow is great on a bicycle. Used it for 20+ years.

On a gun? Never. I saw a pic of some GI's in Afghanistan behind their bunker with their AR's pointed out toward the enemy. One of them was holding up a bottle of Slip 2000 EWL pointing at it with a smile.

Good enough for them, good enough for me.

"Firearms-intended" lubricants are simply the result of labeling.
