    Glock G3 mags. Fit in glock G4?

    Will older glock mags. Fit in the new gen. 4 glocks?

    Yes. You will not be able to use the ambidextrous mag release in the gen 4

      Long Answer
      Glock magazine compatibility is dependent on the type of magazine release that is on the Glock.

      "four" generations of Glock magazines:
      Gen 1 = NFML with left side mag release cut
      Gen 2 = FML with left side mag release cut
      Gen 3 = FML with front & left side mag release cut
      Gen 4 = FML with right, front & left side mag release cut

      Glocks with the standard magazine release can use all (1-4) generations of Glock magazines.

      Glocks with the ambi-magazine release can only use the newer (3-4) generation of Glock magazines.

      Glocks with the reversable magazine release set up on the standard side can use all (1-4) generations of Glock magazines.

      Glocks with the reversable magazine release set up on the non-standard side can only use the newest (4) generation of Glock magazines.
