Help looking for a CZ

I have been searching for a CZ P01, CZ 75 compact or a CZ 75D. Has anyone seen one at a lgs near Long Beach?

I know kentucky gun co has a CZ-75 BD and they also have the P-01 in stock. They will ship without mags. And also if its off roster.


I got my CZ-75b from them and days later they added the CZ-75 omega

Grabagun.com has lots of CZ's in stock and OC Firearms in Fountain Valley can do the SSE and transfer. That's who I'm using.

Its $100.00 for the SSE. Plus $50.00 transfer, $25.00 dros. And state tax to finish the deal.

But in the end i have a 9mm CZ that most likely will not depreciate until the DOJ roster gets thrown out the window (thank you CGF)

Yes. CZ's with the SKU's starting with "9" require SSE 95% of the time. I've used kygunco for 3 of my last CZ's. I did the SSE/transfer through OC Armory. They charge $125 total for the whole transfer. You also have to factor in state tax on the pistol.

OC Armory won't block the mags as of yet so make sure you get some CA legal 10 rounders through cz custom or cz USA.

I believe DAS does so too. Not sure if they charge the same price or higher. Dam I was there's someone I'm SD that doesn't charge arm and leg for SSE.

I picked up my CZ SP-01 thru Rifle Gear. I signed up for email notification and paid for it online and then I did an in store pickup. I waited approx 5 weeks before they had it in stock.

The other shop that gets a lot of CZ's is Damascus Gun Shop (out of state). If you do a SSE, it starts to add to the price of the gun. If you can, you are better off waiting for the CA approved model you want to be in stock.

IMO, If I have to pay SSE fees, I would rather it be for a gun that's off the CA roster.

Thanks. I submitted a notification through rifle gear but have not heard back from them in a while. Decided to see what other options were out there.

Even if the DOJ roster gets thrown out the window, the fact is CZs still hold their value just because they are never consistently readily available to buy. CZ imports a set amount for each model certain times of the year. Once that dries up you may see some in the used market but after a few months even that dries up. You might buy that particular model then may not see them in stock for 9+ months till the next years batch gets in. OP don't wait for your lgs just buy it online. Kygunco.com, Damascusgunstore.com or grabagun may have what you want. The thing is finding an FFL that will receive your gun that the magazine has been removed making the "9" designation for standard cap magazine as nill since the magazine was removed. Kygunco and Damascus will ship the standard caps to a non-restricted state in case you have a relative living in one so you don't lose them by not being able to receive them anymore as rebuild kits or you may have dual residency in another state so you can use them when your staying there. Then you may be able to have your relative sell them in order for you to buy 10rd mags.

Tristar and Canik come to mind for quality CZ clones. Pretty certain both are made in Turkey.
