    Light primer strikes from chambering..

Do most firearms make light primer strikes from chambering? Or is it only certain firearms with freefloating firing pins? I'm not entirely sure what the term freefloating means, is it the same thing as freefloat rail / foreend?

Just randomly thought of this and wondered if all my handguns did the same, or is just my ARs / ACR, because they have freefloat firing pins?

I just found out about this a month or two ago, and it sort of blew my mind the firing pin would contact a round when chambering. Definitely not enough to fire the round, but still surprising.

A free floating firing pin is one that does not have a spring to hold it back to the rear of the bolt and away from the primer.
Both AR and SKS will "mark" the primers when chambering, I'm sure there are many others.
