Question on New Mini and pre-owened standard cap ?

    Hi guy's & Gal's.

Have a several standard feeding devises from 75-79 for a mini, and some from M1 carbine.

Don't own those guns anymore, but saw yesterday a new mini-14 at Big 5.
    ( $779 )

So question is can I use these devices with new mini ( I want to buy ) or are they just junk now.

PM if answer is sensitive, Thanks...

I run my pre-ban mags in my new Mini-14... I also run my standard cap G17 mags in my new Gen4 G17

As long as the mini is featureless(some in the tactical line have features now, so this has to be said) you are fine, the magazine design hasn't changed much if at all so they will work just the same.
Yes, I am an electrical engineer.
No, I will not fix your computer.

So no range problems ( RO/LEO ) if unit is featureless ?

As long as it's featureless, it's legal. Once in a blue moon some idiot range safety officer might hassle someone, but it's a rarity.

Like they said, there's always ignorant ROs and LEOs out there.. but from a legal standpoint if you run a legally owned standard capacity magazine in a legally owned (featureless in the case of a long arm) firearm then you are good to go.

I think that I will buy that little gem now.

Specially since, I'll not need to buy any feeding devices...

              Thanks fellow CG'er's
