    how to improve a safe

    Friends,
I am planning in adding some attachments to my safe. Has anyone placed a hanger on the inside of the doors safe? Does anyone have modified their door safe face panel?
I am trying to utilize the inside door's face panel as a holder for my 556 and some pistols.
    Please advice,

Seems to be done frequently - search the Safes forum.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Just remember that stuff on the door will stick out in your safe when the door is closed. So, by putting stuff on the door, you have to make sure you safe isn't already packed to the brim with things already up against where the door closes normally. Also, watch out for shelves that would prevent something from being mounted on the door when closing the safe.

Thanks for the info. I will continue to review the safe. Cannon makes an ok door mat. I am thinking of improving the concept and make one my self that would allow a shotgun or ar rifle on the door.
