IWB or Pocket Magazine Holster

Looking for a place to stow my spare CW9 mag. I'm not a fan of the "put your mag in a leatherman case" method. I guess I've got two questions:

1. IWB or Pocket carry for an extra mag

2. What product would you recommend and why?

I've looked at the SnagMag and it seems cool, but I'm debating whether I want that clip since I've also got my EDC knife.

I like my 5.11 pants. They have a magazine pocket on the left side just above the cargo pocket. Unfortunately, I'm left handed, so the magazine pocket is not convenient to me; I keep my spare mag in the right side cargo pocket. The magazine pocket DOES hold my cellphone nice and securely, so that's what I use it for!
