My Mosin Crate Coffee Table!!

Well, I bought three Mosin crates from Turner's a few months ago and sold a few of them to other CG'ers; here is mine. I decided NOT to cut up the lid, and just get a piece of glass on the entire top end. Looks good. I MAY decide to do the lid with glass if I place it in the living room. It resides in my man cave for now.

I cleaned up the outside, painted it a camo green; not exactly the same color as they were originally, but I like it. I taped off the writing on the outside, and painted the rest. I sealed the inside with a clear coat, that made it look nice! The glass should be 24x53 inches.

That looks awesome! If I can make a suggestion, you should try to add some accent lighting. Nothing bright but just enough to glow at night. That would definitely showcase those mosins! Once again awesome job!

The link I posted contains twice the LED's, hence twice the price

But for something like this, it 600 LED may be overkill lol

nice job!! i love my mosin table as well. +1 on the lighting i used a safe lighting kit that is sold on calguns. I put the battery pack in one of the ammo holder our mosins come with.

The legs where like $10 each from Home Depot. I just stained them. It make the height just right to rest your feet on.
