New Safe
Since finding this site, my collection has grown some. The old gun locker was getting pretty stuffed:
I waited for my economic stimulus check and started looking for a safe. At first I was going to buy a new one, but life's little troubles erased that thought soon after the check arrived. I had almost given up on finding a decent used safe as I had looked at a couple ratty ones and my funds were dwindling rapidly.
Then Wednesday night, right before bedtime, I checked Craigslist and found this:
I made contact with the seller Thursday morning and basically bought it on the gentleman's word of it's condition. It's a Cannon American Eagle series made in '02. I got it for $700 delivered! True to the seller's word, it's almost like new, with only a couple of very small cosmetic blemishes.
One thing's for sure...I'm going to need a bigger safe soon:
