    Rifle Gear dros question

    can i add another firearm from another ffl and get it shipped to rifle gear and be counted in the same dros ?
    how about a private transfer?

    the new DROS system allows the FFL to DROS as many firearms as you can legally purchase all under one $25 DROS fee. that can be store purchases/transfers/PPTs/etc.

    dealer fees for the PPT or the dealer transfer would be separate, but at least it is only one $25 fee to the state, if everything is DROSed at the same time.

        Yes, RG will add on a long gun that you brought in during the waiting period and adjust accordingly if you told them 5 long arms when you started the first one.

          Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.

            are you sure about them being able to add them in on DROSes started on 1/1/14 or later. the DROS procedure has changed and each firearm must be entered into the system at time of DROS.

                IIRC, unless the long gun also came from the same private party, it is only one gun per DROS for PPTs.

                  I DROS a gun at riflegear that i purchased from them on 12/18 and then a on my pick up date 12/29 I went to do a PPT and DROS a M1A and they didn't want to do it and I had to pay another $35, so regarding PPT, no you can not

                    You are right Jack...maybe Shark or other RG good guy will post. It used to be the way I wrote all that long time ago, 7 days ago.
