Anyone know of the closest outdoor range in Nev. to the S.F. Bay area. The ARs and AKs are wanting to be shot the way they were meant to be..

The closest public range that I know of would be the Palimino Valley Gun Club's Range and the Washoe County Shooting Facility located about 22 miles north of Reno on the Pyramid Highway. I have shot several 50BMG matches there and, on a few occassions I've got to shoot NFA stuff too. Surpressed, FA, SBRs, SBSs it doesn't really matter as long as your weapons are legal! In Mustang there is a machine gun range that has rentals and al kind of fun stuff Mustang is about 10 minutes outside of RenoJonComment

Mustang is just east of Reno. The Mustang Range is 10 miles south of Fernley. They offer CCW and other firearms classes. A couple times a year they have pretty big MG shoots, with cannons and bowling ball mortars.Comment
