Hi guys , new need urgent help

Hi guys this is mink some of you guys might know me on XDTalk . I live and have lived in FL all my life , and I am in a position where I have to relocate to California. Despite the laws (I don't really know much other then they are less then 2A friendly lol.) I say welcome !

I would first move with my parents , and after a week or two have a rental in the W Hollywood / Bev Hills area ...

Everything is great except the gun laws and I want to know weather my brand new Ar-15 build would have to be lost after all the work put in ...

Here's my guns below --- can I add a bullet button and a moe fixed rifle stock and leave the 10rdsrs and I'm good with my AR ?

- spikes lower / psa upper m4
- CTR Collapsable stock (do I need a fixed stock ? Like MAGPUL's rifle stock?)
- moe grip
- psa lpk / wilson TTu trigger

And I also have an M&P Shield 9mm , TFO's + safety delete that is getting a new GK black chrome finish by James at xd-man.com .....

And I just got a new Glock 27 the other day ..

What do I do / need to do / can't do ? Can I bring these to California and register/declare/whatever(?)
them once I'm there and establish residency ? So could I check them in if I'm flying or would I have to send them to a California FFL ?

The AR-15 needs a "Bullet Button", then it's wholly california legal.

The Pistols will need to be registered with the state. You can fine the personal importation registration forms online. Filing fee required.

You'll also have to either leave behind any magazines that hold more than 10 rounds or permanently block them to 10 rounds or less. If you have any threaded handgun barrels you can bring them with you but they cannot be put on the handgun while in the state.

YES, if you move here in 2014 and later, you must report long guns (handguns fell under this requirement pre-2014) within 60 days of bringing them into the state; there will be new or modified forms, and you will have to send them in with a fee.

Depends. Did you even look at the flowchart?
If you're semi auto centerfire rifle is capable of accepting a detachable magazine, you may not use the CTR, or a flash hider or several other features unless you "lock" the magazine, making it NON-detachable.

GTG? Honestly, you need to make that decision for yourself. Anyone of us could tell you, yeah, you're good or no you may not enter and we might be right or wrong. IMO you need to do a little more research, so you have a better understanding and can ask more focused questions.

The reason I'm distinguishing this to you is that Californians designed and produced the first magazine locks for Californians. After several years, they are being blatantly knocked off by cheap chinese imports, which is not acceptable to me personally.

buy any pistols you may want before the move. chances are the pistols on your want list are not on CA's dreaded "roster". yes there are ways around that (for example single shot exemption), but it's easier and cheaper to buy what you want before the move.

Okay , regarding the flow chart I need to measure my overall length with the CTR closed -- but technically my rifle is a Spikes because that's what the lower is (upper is PSA) correct ?

So I guess a new lower is in need ? Considering I've reached all the other O.K's
